Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon visited the BOD Group's High technology centre L.I.G.H.T. WING

On the 17th of November 2013, the High technology centre of BOD Group L.I.G.H.T. WING was visited by Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon.
On the 17th of November, the BOD Group High technology centre L.I.G.H.T. WING, where the solar cells manufacturing company Baltic Solar Energy is based, was officially visited by Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon. At the building door a honoured guest with a wife and their delegation were met by the BOD Group CEO Vidmantas Janulevičius. He explained company‘s activities and arranged the tour to the newly-opened solar cells manufacturing plant. During the visit BOD Group CEO presented a support memorandum to  Mr. Ban Ki-moon contributing to the initiative SUSTAINABLE ENERGY FOR ALL.
„It is a great honor, pleasure and privilege to find out things I did not know, - said Secretay-General of Uited Nations after acquaintance with solar cells manufacturing process. – Companies like this contributes to United Nations‘ and my personal initiative to develop and expand renewable resources. Lithuania is a great example of how small countries can contribute to a global well-being.“
BOD Group CEO Vidmantas Janulevičius thanked the United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon for his attention and presented a remembrance gift – art sculpture. Saying goodbye the honoured guest wished success to the whole companies’ group team and signed in the “BOD support for Africa
